Durant by Robert Durant launched March of 2007. The brand is the brainchild of its CEO Mr. Robert Durant. The goal of the brand is to bring Urban Couture Knits to forefront of every man's closet. The time has come to throw those oversize t-shirts to the back of the closet and replace them with fashion knits that can be worn with a suit, slacks or with your favorite pair of designer jeans. It's no longer just a t-shirt but a fashion knit. Mr. Durant believes that construction is key and the garment's fit must be impeccable.

After completing his Bachelors of Science and his Masters of Business Administration, the New York native began his tenure of over 12 years of apparel experience. With a focus in production, product. development, merchandising and design, he has worked with some of 7th Avenue's top brands such as Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Donna Karen, Armani Exchange and Marc Jacobs. But, the time had come for him to make his my own name within the industry, which is why he launched DURANT by Robert Durant. All goods are made and shipped in from the country of PERU, and all are 100% PIMA COTTON. By combining quality, comfort and phenomenal construction the DURANT luxury knit was born, mixing edgy urban designs with couture body construction.

The overall plan of the brand is to focus on that fashion forward man that knows how to erase those fashion lines and who thinks outside the box.

Introducing model Sy! Sy was born in Mauritania West Africa from Senegalese diplomat parents. He moved to America to study english. On his way to school one day, he was discovered by photographer Angus Watson, who quickly took interest in Sy's distinct and incredible look. He was then introduced to Boss models agent Florian Acheron and was signed on the spot. Since then his modeling career has taken off, booking jobs and ads with Benetton, Sony, Givaudan Presentation and opening for Sean John during Fashion Week 2008.

Here are some new photos of me with a fresh new look. To all those aspiring models, let me tell you modeling isn't easy. I thought at one point that all it took was to be attractive, well i have come to learn that it just isn't that simple. A photographer once told me " Modeling is not a look, its a talent, a skill that you either have naturally or learn with great practice." So those of you who thought my hair was the only reason i modeled, you was wrong.  My hair was just a look, it was my determination and skill that got me this far.
