Durant by Robert Durant launched March of 2007. The brand is the brainchild of its CEO Mr. Robert Durant. The goal of the brand is to bring Urban Couture Knits to forefront of every man's closet. The time has come to throw those oversize t-shirts to the back of the closet and replace them with fashion knits that can be worn with a suit, slacks or with your favorite pair of designer jeans. It's no longer just a t-shirt but a fashion knit. Mr. Durant believes that construction is key and the garment's fit must be impeccable.
After completing his Bachelors of Science and his Masters of Business Administration, the New York native began his tenure of over 12 years of apparel experience. With a focus in production, product. development, merchandising and design, he has worked with some of 7th Avenue's top brands such as Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Donna Karen, Armani Exchange and Marc Jacobs. But, the time had come for him to make his my own name within the industry, which is why he launched DURANT by Robert Durant. All goods are made and shipped in from the country of PERU, and all are 100% PIMA COTTON. By combining quality, comfort and phenomenal construction the DURANT luxury knit was born, mixing edgy urban designs with couture body construction.
The overall plan of the brand is to focus on that fashion forward man that knows how to erase those fashion lines and who thinks outside the box.
